The University of Idaho Extension and TechHelp are pleased to announce an Advanced Artisan Cheese Making Workshop to be held in Gooding Idaho on Wednesday and Thursday March 25 and 26, 2009.
This course will concentrate on the advanced principles of manufacturing farmstead and artisan cheese. The two day workshop will consist of lectures combined with hands-on cheese making activities conducted at the Ballard Family Dairy and Cheese facility in Gooding. Workshop participants will receive a course manual, refreshments and lunch.
Enrollment in this workshop will be limited to 15 participants on a first-come, first served basis. Enrollees must have completed a basic cheese making course (or equivalent). Seats will be reserved for active dairy producers.
