Central Co-op's Madison Market in Seattle (www.madisonmarket.coop)is selling Larkhaven Farm's Whitestone Feta and Cayuse Mountain Goat.

Nice write-up on Larkhaven Farm. We are also in Okanogan County and have had our aged goat cheese license for 1 1/2 years. We sell primarily in the northcentral regional area, but sales are available through out website and w are beginning to have venues in Spokane, Bellingham and Wenatchee. The varieties we have are: Parmesan, Asiago, and Crottin.

I wanted to let folks know that we have made it into several great markets in Seattle and Spokane, with requests for samples and orders from restaurants and retail outfits around the state coming in every day, thanks to support from people like Tami and others. And I thank Roger for his comment; we love to think of our cheese at his cheese counter! Our growing list of retail outlets is on our website.

And thank you, Carey, for chiming in. Perhaps Tami will write a story about Pine Stump Farm, as well! On our website, we have a heading, “our other cheese-making friends,” and your farm is on that list, did you notice?. It is so great that there is a growing number of Washington cheesemakers and that we all make so many wonderful and different cheeses. We’re proud to name our cheesemaker friends on our website, happy to see them on Tami’s PNW Cheese Project list and happy to hear that Washington is rivaling Vermont in specialty cheese operations!

Larkhaven Farmstead Cheeses

We now carry Whitestone Feta from Larkhaven Farm at Saunders Cheese Market in Spokane, and are very proud to do so. It is an amazing cheese, very rich and satisfying with some tang.
