Hello, a friend hinted me off on your weblog, as she knows about my affection over cheese. I have added you to my blogroll, if that is okay.
There is a Persian kind of cheese that's made from whey. It's called "kashk", but has other names, too. The old mountain people in greater Persia used to make dried balls of it, and they used to grind it according to need, stir it up with water and use it as a dip. Today, kashk also comes as readymade paste and it is used as a dip in traditional soups. It's quite delicious.
